ATTENTION!
Jericho's Promise Animal Rescue is urgently searching
for volunteers to foster one of our animals in their homes.
What is fostering? Essentially, it means opening up your home for one of our rescues to provide them with day-to-day care. This will likely include feeding them, giving them exercise, love, and possibly rehabilitation if not more. Jericho's Promise will provide our foster homes with all the daily essentials needed for keeping an animal in their home. We give all our foster homes food, toys, litter, crates, blankets, leashes, collars and any other supplies required for the complete and proper care of our rescues. All animals are vaccinated and de-wormed before placement and are almost always micro-chipped as well.
We are looking for foster homes that are extremely dedicated and committed towards helping our animals thrive before adoption. Jericho's Promise will perform a home check prior to placing our animals, so please be aware. Once we have completed the home check, you have the privilege of choosing one (or more) of our animals to fit into your home.
We are small rescue organization with a staff of a dedicated few volunteers. While most of our animals do stay in foster homes in San Diego, they are also housed throughout a 200 mile radius of the city. We need to find long-term fosters for our rescues so that we can open up space for another unfortunate animal. We ask that you foster an animal for a minimum of 4 weeks, but the most rewarding experience is watching your foster grow and eventually get adopted. Some of you may become known as "foster failures" in the near future! All of our animals are loving and need a caring foster parent who will give them the love and attention they deserve until a permanent home for them is found.
To inquire information on how to foster, please contact Lori Jolly at 619-962-1170. We encourage everyone willing to foster to join our volunteer network group on facebook at http://www.facebook.com/groups/foster4JPAR/ All of the animals pictured below are in need of permanent long-term fosters as soon as possible until they find their forever homes. Animals shown on our adoptables page may also be listed here for foster homes. All of our animals are available to adopt to our fosters if they just so happen to become a "foster failure"for those who have simply fallen completely in love with their foster furbaby!
If you are interested in volunteering to become a permanent foster, or to volunteer for other opportunities, please download and fill out the form below! We hope to hear from you!
